The Most Common Reason You Are Fat

Are you one of the millions around the world trying very hard to shed your excess fat only to end up disappointed? Are you tired and planning to give up? If losing fat has been an ongoing battle in your life, you are not alone in this battle. The most disheartening and frustrating thing in life is losing fat only to gain it all back.
You must first understand what brought you to this your present situation in the first place if you want to lose fat successfully and keep it off. Many people like you have struggled with excess fat and have tried several fat loss program that have left them disillusioned. Your relationship with food is the most basic reason you are fat. Many times you must have used food as an excuse to comfort yourself and eat when you are depressed and anxious.
One way to break your food addiction is to find one root cause for your overeating. Some people eat out of boredom, they watch TV and just want to eat some chips. One of the most difficult things to correct is your abusive relationship with food. Food addiction is unlike alcohol or drug that you can take away the offending agent.
You cannot take food away because you need food to survive. However, you should eat to live and not live to eat. You must train yourself to eat only enough to have enough energy to get you through your daily activities. Do not overindulge yourself by eating until you are stuffed. The excess fat you stored in your body is as a result of overindulgence.
However, you can make the necessary changes by realizing that you have unhealthy food habits. It is a mistake to think that exercise is the key to losing fat. Exercise is however only a very small part of the equation. The majority of fat loss success is due to your eating habits. If you want to be able to lose fat successfully and keep it, you must be able to control the amount of calories you eat and the kind of food you take.
Always keep in mind that a key factor to fat loss success is portion control. It is true that if you have been used to gorging yourself following a healthy eating lifestyle can be very hard, but there is no sacrifice too much to make if you genuinely want to have that body you desire.

Avoid Munching While Watching TV To Help Continue Losing Weight

One of the worst ways to destroy an agenda to lose weight is to allow snacks to get the better of us. For many, it is very popular when urged to snack, to simply bring out a bag of potato chips and a tall glass of soda to satisfy that craving - especially when watching TV.
Be honest, is this a habit you find yourself doing on a regular basis?
If one of your main goals is to lose weight and get in shape, it is critical that you control yourself all day long, especially when at home after work and leisure time takes over. It's during these moments when most people lose focus and get careless while watching TV, reading a book, or using the computer. Think about your own habits after the 8'oclock hour. Do you find yourself snacking more often when your favorite tv show is on or when watching a movie?
If you know from past experience that you habitually snack while sitting on the couch enjoying a program on the tube, then you want to make sure you don't let the trend continue. When you allow yourself to snack in automatic mode while your attention is diverted on another activity, you usually consume far more than is appropriate. This is something you really don't want to continue doing especially if you're focusing on maintaining a diet conducive to lose weight.
When the mind is focused on something else, the hand unfortunately will continue tossing in snack after snack and pretty soon the entire container in your lap is empty leaving you bewildered wondering where it all went.
Nevertheless, many of us take part in some type of leisure activity whether it be watching television, reading a book, doing a puzzle, or merely using the computer. Regardless, if you are concerned with losing weight, then snacking while these activities are going on must be kept in check.
If you must have some type of snack during these moments, try at all cost to avoid the salty, sugary snacks that are littered with calories and opt for something that is light and healthy. You can find granola bars, rice cakes, fruits, veggies, yogurt, almonds, all that are only around 100 calories total. If you follow that snack with a large glass or two of water, that hunger craving you had moment ago will be a thing of the past.
Try this the next time you find yourself craving a snack while doing a leisure activity and see if you can quench the urge with a healthy, low calorie option. Once you accomplish this one time, you will be inspired to do this on a regular basis. If you are truly concerned with shedding weight and getting into shape, then it is vital that you keep the casual snacking moments in complete control. Don't let these random moments toss in hundreds of wasted calories when you are trying to lose weight. You will be stalling your success all due to an unnecessary splurge.

The Mental Game Of Weight Loss

Many of us have tried losing weight in the past only to have it all find it's way back to us and then we notice it brought a few friends along.
Then there's nothing left to do but feel frustrated, and suffer with our weight problem for another several months or years until we get sick and tired again of bering sick and tired and try once again to lose that unsightly weight.
But the key to weight loss isn't in your diet or what supplements you're taking. No, it's in your mind and your ability to take constnat consistent action in the present.
The big pitfall of weight loss is that most people think they're just going to go on a diet until they reach their goal weight, and then they can go back to their old eating habits.
That's like going back to an ex boyfriend or girlfriend, chances are you'll be right back where you started and your situation won't be any better.
When you start to "cheat" on your diet, it's a slippery slope back to where you already were. And the scary thing is you don't ever really realize it until it's too late.
I'm sure you've experienced it before "It's only going to be one time, it's ok" So you cheat on your diet...and that one time turns into once a day which quickly grows into a few times a day...and then you're not on your diet anymore.
You see, it's not about changing your eating habits for a couple of months until you're at your goal weight...it's about changing your lifestyle of eating to be the healthy person you want to be.
And it all starts in your mind. Priming your mind for a change in your diet is the most important thing you must do before starting a diet. Otherwise you leave yourself open to going back to your old eating habits.
A technique you can use and that I teach to my clients is "acting as if". See when you act as if, your subconscious mind (Where all your habits that you do unconsciously are stored) can't tell the differece between fantasy and reality.
So when you "act as if" you're a skinny person, you begin to change your beliefs and subconscious habits to reflect that.
Ask yourself "Would a skinny person eat this?" If not then don't eat it...because you are a skinny person.
By acting as if, you are reshaping your belief system about yourself and your weight. Ask yourself "How would a skinny person act?" And then do that.
As you change your limiting beliefs about yourself, you'll change the results you've been getting with weight loss.

Build A Productive New You With Fitness Secrets

By Piers Moore

You can't find them everyday, but advancements are possible, when you learn new fitness secrets. If you spend lots of time reading about fitness, you are learning new things already because of your passion for it. Once you get to a certain point, though, you'll discover you've heard that already. If you want to get better, then new information is what you should be searching for. Wasting your time only happens when you seek for information to help and you don't find anything.

Anyone that is truly serious about being fit should enter sporting competitions whenever they can. Not only will you find yourself in a different frame of mind, but it will bring a new dimension to your workouts entirely. When you were in front of that audience, can feel intimidated by their sheer presence. Even though the initial shock value is high, your desire to get better and more athletic will keep you there. Once the date is set, and you know you have to compete, you will start to prepare that day. You can inject a little fire into your motivational levels, as this raises the bar considerably. This is the effect of competition, and of course it can be healthy or go too far. Remember to keep everything in perspective, stay healthy, and remain positive at all times. Working out is good for your body, but that doesn't mean leaning should stop. Fitness exercises and work outs have many areas that are related. You can never get too much knowledge, and you should never forget that. Since you don't know everything about your sport, this is a big matter. New things are being learned all the time, so even experts have room to increase their knowledge. You should become better at your sport the more you learn. Once you enter the world of fitness, you will learn that there are many subtle aspects in its makeup. Books have been written recently or long ago, where you can find this information. Magazines and DVDs about your sport contain a big amount of information.

One of the biggest problems people have with a new fitness program is staying with it and not quitting. What you need to have is accountability but that can be hard to figure out, sometimes. If this is a challenge to you, then you shouldn't start anything new, without trying your best to fix it before you begin. There must be something you can do when you slack off that would keep you from doing it.

There is so much available with ageless male review that we had a tough time figuring out what to include, here. We are not sure if our other material will be out when this reaches you, so be sure to check our site for more information. Just be sure to enhance what you already have discovered in this article because that is just the smart thing to do. Everything you can find out will be of service to you in some way, and maybe that will be in the far off future; but that is all right. Do not deprive your self of the ability to create the best decision environment because that is the most intelligent thing you can do.

If you don't like physical discomfort, and being disciplined, you will have a difficult time with this. Your body and mind will get a good benefit from doing this, at least. So add more only when you know and feel it's safe to do and you'll continue making strong gains.

When you get to where you are happy with the results you have achieved, you will know getting fitness success was worth it. You need to have desire and motivation in order to be consistent, which is part of the success formula. You will be served well, if you decide to make working out a lifelong habit and you establish a pattern.

How Safe Is Rapid Fat Loss?

So you want to lose fat? And obviously, you want to do it in the shortest time possible! But how safe is it to lose fat quickly, and what can be done to make the process safer?
First of all, rapid fat loss is where you're losing more than 3lbs of fat per week. 1-2lbs is a safe amount and that's the normal goal for most people that are on a diet. So this only applies if you're trying to shift the pounds a little more quickly than the average person.
Secondly - you need to look at how you're doing it. Is it:
a.) A starvation diet (like a "Master Cleanse" style water/cayenne pepper fast)?
b.) A very low calorie diet (like the popular Protein Sparing Modified Fast)?
c.) Driven by the latest and greatest Fat Loss Pill?

Because all three of these things are offered to the general population through internet marketing sites, but 2 out of three are outright dangerous. Let's take a deeper look.
The Dangers of Rapid Fat Loss Diets
The main danger with option c.) is that you probably won't know what it is you're taking. Most of the pills and potions offered on the internet aren't FDA approved, they don't have scientific trials behind them and there's no guarantee that they'll do what they say on the tin. At best, you'll find that you're paying for something with no effects whatsoever. At worst, you might be consuming something downright dangerous. If you're ever looking to lose weight fast then make sure you never ever do it using pills. The only thing you should consume to keep your metabolism high on a rapid fat loss diet is caffeine, and you should probably be careful with that.

The danger with option a.) is that you're not consuming enough protein, and you're certainly not consuming enough vitamins and minerals. This kind of diet is crazy low in calories, and if you can force yourself to go through with it you'll end up with:
- muscle atrophy (wastage)
- protein lost from internal organs (can cause organ failure if you go too long)
- kidney damage
- diarrhea
- dizziness
- lethargy

As well as other issues related to low blood electrolyte levels (dehydration) and tiredness.
This sort of diet also does not teach a very good long term relationship with food - and the big danger is that as soon as the "cleanse" is over, the dieter will go back to drinking soda, eating pizza and getting fat - reversing all of the good work done beforehand.
The best Rapid Fat Loss diet is a protein sparing modified fast. These still have their dangers - you need to check with an MD before starting anything like this - but the high protein content of such a diet will prevent any serious damage to organs and will help to ensure there is no muscle loss on the diet (after all - you want to lose fat not muscle).
How to Make a Rapid Fat Loss Diet Safe
1.) Ensure adequate protein intake (1g per lb of lean body mass is ideal)
2.) Ensure potassium salts are taken in the diet (to keep blood pressure high and prevent electrolyte imbalances)
3.) Take fish oil (reduces inflammation)
4.) Avoid all "diet pills"
5.) Ensure the diet is still based on whole foods

This will keep the diet as safe as physically possible, whilst still allowing for the rapid loss of body fat.
